A visit from mercury with a little wheat spill from a traffic gore.

What's a gore? It's the only word I could find to describe what the little grassy triangles at intersections are called. Been driving past this little intersection for years, figured I'd hit it up this morning. Got some nice plugs and found 5/8 wheaties within a foot of each other. Gotta love when you get that perfect plug and the coins are just sitting there smiling up at you. I found the 1930 w merc within a few feet of the wheaties. Thanks for looking and happy hunting!

Yeah! That makes sense. Sometimes it's hard figuring out the name for regular everyday objects, especially when there are multiple international names for them. I think "gore" is from england/europe and refers specifically to the triangle shaped islands.
