I got invited to my brothers house for Easter. Looking around, I realized his house was pretty old. After asking, I found out the house was built in 1915, so I figured it need to be hunted.
The ground was pretty trashy and I was wishing I had the 6" coil with me. The 12 x 10 SEF was too big for the yard. The room had been replaced several times and most of the nails ended up on the ground.
I did find a few good targets, a couple of Wheaties from the 1930's, and some clad. Of course the usual hot wheels was there, as was a sterling religious medal.
The nicest target of the day was the 1883 nickel. I will definitely be getting back there.
