A day off work today, so despite the chilly temps and the frost on the ground, off we headed.

Today we went to the fields near the river, just outside the village, the field still has the ridge and furrow lumps and bumps in it, got a nice mix of bits nd bobs, buttons, musket ball, lead, I found my first whistle, a pendant on a chain, a ring, and a “jewel” 😆 fairly sure none of them are “real” but nice to get some different stuff up. It was a beautiful day and much needed break from reality!
No little mushrooms today, so took pics of the frost and beautiful England for you xx

Liking the finds and the title to your blog, wandering is the bestest!

There's somethings that need more of a look.
Whistle! Now you don't have yell for himself to dig the target.
So easy, 1 Whistle-get over here.
2-whistles, you better be 🏃‍♂️ 🤣
Great mental therapy day blossom.

recovery speed will double, nice!

The 'Pendant' is half of a late 19th C Cloak Hasp, the mirror piece had the hook & buttoned up the cloak at the top.
Plus you have half of an 18th C Clog Clasp.

Thanks Peps, if only he was that trainable…. He is a bit of a fiesty one… yesterday, he sent me to the opposite side of the field and cut our lunch break to 20 minutes 🙄 …!!! 😂😂 xx

Now that I view a larger version of the finds I wonder why no coinage?
#3-Looks like a Palm guard.
What is the little round piece with 5 bumps?
They always say diamonds a girl's best friend.

Liking this one-thinking it was really stunning if had retained all it's gold wash.

I think the little 5 lump was a button… i did get coinage… a crusty half penny nd another… possibly a crusty farthing? Himself got a 1957 six pence. But he is in charge of coins… so i only get to post my exciting ones 🤨 xx
