A week of firsts!! Silver, Shield Nickel and a Flying Eagle cent!

I've had a stellar week of digging. I hit three new spots, all new permissions, and came away with 3 firsts and all pretty darn good ones, if you ask me.

Sunday: Found my very first Spanish Silver. A 1770 Lima Mint half reale.

Monday: Dug my first ever Shield Nickel, 1873.

Tuesday: It rained.

Today: I got my first Flying Eagle Cent. 1858

I hope this streak continues.

Congrats from one fellow Vermonter to another! Happy for you. You may know this, but the FE cent is actually a more difficult find than the Reale. Ahem...I like the Reale better though!

Yup. I was pretty happy thinking that it was a Fatty IHP that I had found, when i got it home and the crud off it I was really excited to see that Eagle!
If your ever "down south" give a shout and maybe we can go for a hunt
