I spent a week with the family down in the Outer Banks and I was able to get out to the beach almost every day. I usually waited until low tide or after people cleared off in the afternoon and would hunt until dark.

No gold or silver but plenty of interesting finds.

"Eyeball" anklet
Gold plated earring
Steel (?) wavy ring
Copper (?) twisted ring
Fake cob pendant
Fake cob coin
Pet Tag
Cross on braided leather
4 fishing weights
2 Carabiners
$4 in clad
30 can tabs

Still looking for my first gold ring, think I'm going to put that in my signature lol

I’ve found a few fake cobs on the OBX beaches as well. Gets your heart racing for a moment. Congrats

Nice finds, congrats! :icon_thumleft:

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

I wish the folks who stick the fakes out there would stop! I almost had a coronary with a fake one years ago.
