Yep, can't count all them valve stem covers like that I've dug up around here.

Good coin Man!

Re: A wheatie & a sweetie

Great short hunt! As silly as it sounds, I can't wait til I find my first borderline silver ('64). Closest I have gotten is a '62, I think.

Joe

BTW...I ordered a 6x10 DD for the M6. Are you still using yours on the DFX? I know you had recommended it to me awhile back. If you've used the stock coil extensively, how would you compare the two coils in most situations? Thanks.

Hey Joe,
I've never used the stock coil or 9.5 I believe it is. My DFX came with the 300mm or 12" coil which I rarely use. The 12" would be best under clean ground that you want to cover fast and get deep. But you're going to love the 6x10 DD. I haven't been using mine much since I got the new 10" DD Whites coil, but did I put it on today to hit some curb cuts with Brett. Sure glad I did too as I'll explain in my post. ;D
I think you'll find that you'll be able to crank up that M6 a bit more with the new coil as its verry stable. This should result in depth equal to the stock coil with better separation too. Plus its lighter for those long days and you can get into tighter areas with it. When you first swing that coil it going to feel like you're holding a floor hockey stick. ;D

Thanks John. I'm psyched about getting it. I hope it will arrive soon! I'll let you know how I do with it when I test it out.

Nice finds John!
I've found a few of those valve stem covers before and always tried to figure out just what the heck they were, and now I'm smarter for having read this post. ;D
