“A Whole Band for 50 Cents” Harmonophone

Been hitting some nearby lunch hunt spots this week. Thought I finally found a complete harmonica, vs lots of broken reeds.



Figured out it was Clover not Lover and bingo.




Now I just need to find the horn... The Harmonophone was patented Feb 6, 1900.

Also found a couple old coins that day.



Then a handful of midtones mostly.



I think the CJ 5 aluminum piece is some kind of token. The suspender clasp is much fancier than the normal ones I find.

Didn't anyone tell you it was too cold to dig this week? I took tomorrow off. Probably finish my neighbor's yard. Maybe somewhere else, depending on when the rain is expected to start.

Just cold enough to freeze the top 2” of swampy soil, perfect for hiking and exploring the old woods. Hope you get some more silvers out of that yard. Good luck
