? About Buttons

Have been looking for some buttions that I put away years ago and have only found this one. Is there a book that will tell you when a certain button was made with a list of the button makers customers? Have E-Mailed the local Police Dept but no answer yet as to when they quit using this button. Looked on Waterbury site but only info found was when they changed there markings on the back. Will include a Pic of the button in question.

Did you try contacting Waterbury to see if they will date it for you?

The date range for this particular Waterbury backmark is 1866-1900.
