For the money, the Ace 250 really amazes me! Playing around in my yard with it, I got a strong dime signal, 8+ inches down. I dug and dug over 9" deep and finally got a ding on a handfull of dirt. Slowly sifting the dirt in my hand for that "old" dime, I got down to nothing left. Nothing there! I took the Ace back over the hole.....nothing. Went back over the dirt I sifted....ding! Using a pinpointer over that dirt, I finally found this small piece. Silver colored, non-magnetic. Looks to be a part of a rivit. I can't believe that the Ace would pick up that small a piece that deep with such a strong signal....... Sorry about the focus on the pics. Kodak EasyShare sucks in macro.......
