Ace 250 and water?

I think I have seen this question answered on here before but I am planning a trip to the local lake to do some hunting. If the coil is submerged will it affect anything. If I remember correctly as long as the housing stays dry I should be OK. Am I correct?

You are correct. The coil can go into the water, but not the housing. Good luck on your hunt.

Set it in relic mode and dig all beeps - even the iffy ones! Try to find a long handled scoop. Extend the rod all the way out so you can hunt deeper waters.
