Ace 250 coil

I'm new to metal detecting and I was wondering what the benifit of replacing the stock coil that comes with the Ace 250.

The coils you get with any detector is a compromise between max coverage and sensitivity. Most hunters just opt to get a sniper coil for working trashy sites to only get one item under the coil at a time.
