Ace 250 HeadPhone Coiled Cable

Does anyone else have the problem of their headphone cable stretching right across the view screen of their Ace 250?
I am constantly fighting mine or holding it out of the way so I can see my screen. They are one of the gifts I received from A&S Co. when I bought the detector, so I don't know if they are Garrett brand or not.
Does Radio Shack make extensions for this type of cable?

What I do is run the cord under the handle. It rubs the underside of the control box, but does not interfere with the screen.

look in home depot there are coaxial wire holders there that have sticky tape at the base apply one to the box or anywhere to detour the wire---simple fix

I like to hold my cable under the grip so the cable isn't bending back and forth at the connection and brake.
