Hi there and welcome to T-Net! I brought my Ace250 down from WI and have been using it on the beaches here in Alabama on the Gulf Coast. It works really well on the sand that is dry but when I get down along the water's edge I have to turn the sensitivity WAY down or it goes off every time it even bumps the ground. You shouldn't have any problems if ya keep that in mind..........

I recommend running it at a max of 5 Sens. But probably 4 will give you best results.
