Ace 350 confusion!!

I just got a new 350 and took it to my target garden.When the coil goes over the target the unit bongs three times.With the outter edge the middle the outter edge. Is this normal for the 350? It does this in all the modes. Sen set at four bars.

How deep is your target and what is it?

The first target was quarter at 5" second was at 7" third was a nickle at 2" The unit rang three times on all.It is a dd coil also.

Not normal for it to sound off unless its picking up another target. 350 is no joke and had good depth and good recovery speed. The coil is large so possible its picking up a secondary target. Also make sure your cable from the coil up about a foot is secured in a straight line so ad you swing it doesn't move which can cause secondary audio tone.

bz thanks for your thoughts. I have taped the cord to the rod.I also know there is only one target.I planted the garden with my mxt.The 350 still hits three times on the coil.I guest I will have to call garrett and see if they have any ideas.
