Ace 350 dd coil ?????

I have had the ace 350 with the DD coil I have had no problems up to this point . What it doing is if you bump the bottom of the coil on the ground or hit a stick ect it will go off like you have strong silver hit . I have changed batterys adjusted the sensitivity the higher the worse it gets I have checked the cable for damage and have checked were the cable goes into the box . I'm thinking the coil is bad ? Any one have this happen I'm at a loss . Any help would be great

That sounds like a hospital case. Double check coil connection for dirt and tightness. If that's okay, then its off for repair, Garrett will take care of it in grand fashion trust me.
