I was gone for 30 minutes to run a few errands and this is what I came back to. The house across the street, built by the Lustron Company in the late 1940's, was finally being torn down (12-tons of steel and 1-ton of enamel does not give up easily). I think the developer is going to try to squeeze a new, 3,000+ square-foot home on this lot. . .

Thanks for looking. You're right about it's architectural significance, I personally had a soft spot for it as well. Unfortunately, during the past 20 or so years, the "renters" that came and went were a different story (911).
