Not a joke, but a true story - and I do it every time I travel by plane.
It gets a great laugh.
When you get off the plane and you are walking towards Baggage Claim,
there is usually a gate where visitors have to wait for arriving travelers.
These people are eager and scanning the crowd for their loved one.
At that point, I pick out an older guy and exclaim "Dad!!!"
(or, for an older woman, "Mom!")
It's your long-lost son!
One time I did it and the man was shocked, but his wife cracked up laughing.
You have to wonder if he had an illegitimate child somewhere!
