Going on vacation in the Adirondacks, was wondering if anybody could recommend any good places to hunt. I was told there are finds from the French and Indian War.

You might want to try the Cascade Lakes day use area...I found some interesting artifacts there last summer both in the water and in the picnic area. There used to be a hotel on the site in the late 1800's before it was affected by a rockslide.
