Adjust factory headset black standard

Im using my new headset now and they are the ones that came standard (black-non-waterproof) with the Garrett AT Gold.
They wont stay adjusted for me so does anyone have any ideas on how to keep them adjusted in one position and stop sliding ?
I made sure the two small screws were snug but that didnt help. Super glue ?

Mine did the exact same thing...I cut a little piece of cardboard and stuck one in each side to keep them from sliding...worked fine.
