Electrolysis will eat it in about 1 minute. Leave as is. They can almost never be sourced to the origin.

leave as is - if you have a few ...put them together in a display

Maybe a pencil rubbing over paper might bring up the written details on the seal. Lead just stays the way it came out, might change a tad in colour, but that's about all.

Here's a field seal from the 14/15C (can't remember exactly) that I dug nearly a decade ago, and it hasn't changed.

I agree with Casper-2. Leave it as is, and display it alone, or with others if you have some.
