What's your definition of old? Anything not new is old.....
 

Your first item is a meat cleaver and they are still being made, I don't know when the first meat cleaver was made, but it would be something hard to age without any identifying marks.

Although it appears to be a meat cleaver.... it is IMO... not.
 

Could be a "froe" type tool for splitting off thin pieces of wood, such as shingles. If so, probably at least 19th century, maybe older.
