I do not know how many penny boxes I have been through over the last seven years but it has been a lot. I probably average one box of pennies every two weeks. Well two rolls into last nights box out pops an Indian. It actually took a second for it to register. It is an 1876 not in the greatest shape but I am still psyched.

sweet finds not long ago i found a 1906 ihp almost 1800's

Congrats! Still waiting on my first IHC!

1876 is one of the better dates of the Indian head cent series. Even in low grade it's at least a $20-$25 dollar coin. Congrats!!

Persistency pays off!! Way to go

Gold P: when I read your post headline,I thought it was 1800 ounces of silver. Guess not, but congrats on the IH find.

Wow. That's cool. What else have you found penny roll hunting? That's one you don't see very much

Congrats on a rare and interesting find!

I have only found wheat pennies and a handful of those have been teens and twenties but no key dates.

oh yeah I wish I had 1800 ounces of silver. I am only close to 1800 ounces short

I'd be psyched too! Congratulations. That's amazing that someone would throw that away...but I guess that's why we love to CRH.

Thats a winner right there. Great find buddy. IHP's are always great to find but one in the 1870's is an exceedingly rare find. Nice work.

Nicely done! Hope you get another one real soon!!

Sweet IHP and talk about breaking into the 1800'S!!!! Nice date! Congrats!!!!
