a 1913 D Barber quarter! And was only about an inch deep.
(The other a clad quarter)
Met up with a friend to detect an 1860s-70s farm.
Kind of surprised at the lack of good targets. Both of us were hoping to score a few IH cents and maybe a small silver or two each. Dug the usual junk as not to miss out on anything good.
But that's the way a lot of hunts go.
Hope I am not the cause of the scuff on the obverse. At least it wasn't a '13 S getting scuffed....
