Found this basalt double-bitted axe head this weekend on the Canadian River:
Almost didn't pick it up because it looked like just any other river rock (except for the worked area on one end I could see). It's well-worn in the center portion, I suppose because of the handle attachment. Anyone have any idea of age? I'm guessing Archaic but really don't know.
