Hi all, found what may be a picture frame near a home built in 1835 and inhabited until about year 2000. The back is attached to the front at a single pin, which allows them to rotate (see the 3rd and 4th pictures). Did some looking on-line -- but didn't see anything like it.
Other noteworthy things found were all late 19th-20th century including a tiny SS spoon, a tag off a Chicago World's Fair souvenir walking cane, and a door knob.
Is it a picture frame? How old is it?
