Age of this Star Button?

Since Herbie posted a star button the other day, figure I'd post this one I found today! It's about 7/16" wide. Any idea on age and if any significance to the star? Or is it simply a star?

well first off--- I noticed its dual star design ***--the outer designed part is a six sided star ( similar to the jewish star of david design*) rather than the normal 5 sided (pentagram) type star used by most folks --however if one looks again --there seems to me to be a "pentagram" 5 pointed type star within the center area of the six sided star --the points of the 5 pointed star match up with where the lines cross one another in inner part of the 6 pointed star of david type design.
