Agrican Coin... looks like amharic??

I have an african coin from a lot I bought off ebay - it has a roaring lion's hea and symbols that looks like amharic (abyssinian) writing. On the reverse it has some sort of antelope grazing with a number "10" over the antelope's body. Colour is silver-brown with tarnish.
Any clues?

I think the roaring lion coins are from Ethiopia...
