Albert's Button Book.

Just picked up a copy of ..

Record of American Uniform and Historical Buttons
by
Alphaeus H. Albert.

It's a Book that I've wanted for years but I have never dug many buttons that need Id'ing.

Now I can try to ID buttons for myself & others.
&
What really makes it cool imo is It's a Bicentennial Edition that's in almost new Condition...

Is this still the most Recommended button books in the Market?
Good Enough for my needs.

Yep, its still considered one of the good ones.... along with a few by Warren Tice. One of his titled "Dating Buttons" is scarce, the other one he has (can't remember the exact title but it deals with US and CS military buttons up to 1865) is more readily available.
