All in all the f2 seems like a good detector except for build 9vs and Gold jewlr

Well i got my hands on a used f2 and its not bad. Dont see alot of gold jewlry finds with it on the forums though and build quality could have been better. Its a real clad hog ill give it that and aperantly likes silver a bit. Wish fisher would have used double AAs as well those darn 9volts are pricey oh well.

Dude go out and buy rechargeable batteries,I've got good results with Energizer's batteries,and better yet I also have a solar charger as well,this takes alittle longer,but it's free power.I picked mine up from Realgoods.com
