About two month's ago, I hit a grass area, next to a parking lot. This was just a quick hunt to possibly find a silver coin. I ended up with a 1916 Canadian dime(not pictured here) and this nice watch fob, which is just as great to find as a silver coin. I am not sure what the time period of the watch fob is though. HH

Great find!!!

I believe that's an Allis Chalmers HD 20, which was in production around 1951-54. I also found a 1954 newspaper reference to a Conlan Tractor Co. in Abilene.

Great looking Chalmers FOB.
They had an Allis Chalmers factory in my home town of LaPorte, Ind.
One of the biggest employers around. They just knocked it down last year.
Cool find indeed.
Congrats,
MM
