Along the road constuction today

Did a little metal detecting in a dug out area for a retention pond for a road widening/reconstruction project here in town. It is an area where once stood some very old homes. Managed to find amongst a lot of old broken glass and pottery a large iron buckle, part of a harmonica reed, a small brass ornamental piece, a brass container lid, a circa late 1800s cork top aqua bottle etc.

It looks like it could be a clutch linkage rod from a tractor or vehicle.
