Am I Stingy, or just Have A Positive Outlook?

I pick up even pennies on the ground.

I know, it's just a penny but it's 1 cent more than I had 5 minutes ago!

Heck, I even pick up the empty aluminum cans laying around, crush them and sell them to the scrap metal yard at years' end along with my copper, brass, lead, can slaw...........everything. Usually nets me around $75.

My dad ( born in 1908 ) told me the story of when he was a kid him and a friend were walking down the railroad tracks when he spotted a coin on the ground. He told his friend hey, there’s you a penny. Friend picked it up, turned out to be a 2 1/2 dollar gold piece.

I never pass up free money! My eyes are constantly scanning the ground and I have found more than pennies, I have found several $20 bills and other paper cash as well.
