I don't know how many of you guys already know about this site, but it is very helpfull in identifying what exact businesses and estates were around back in the day in certain areas. These are "lot" or "plot" maps. So far, the best site I have found for research purposes.

Let me know what you guys think, and if you find something of interest, I would be more than happy to check it out with you.

Keep looking guys, My town goes back to 1886 and with the help of the Index you can track what business where there from year to year and you can also download them and print to any size paper. I like it!!!!

That is an awsome site there jon_giebult!!!

I should have a few more different sites similar to this by tomorrow. One of my colleagues from college supposedly knows of some and said would e-mail them to me. I'll keep everyone posted.
