Found this at an old farm today, I think it is a Rosette? It is kind of banged up, any value for the color?

What size is it? Can you tell if there were 2 areas on the back where an attachment bar would have been? It reminds me of the glass reflectors that use to be on Stop & Railroad signs back in the 1950's.

It is 1 1/2 inch by 1 1/2 inch and yes there are two marks on the back.

I found this one last week with a horse under the glass I think it's off a saddle or bridle looks close to yours

If you touch a hot needle to amber, it will give off a resin smell. Plastic gives a burnt smell, and glass won't react at all.
