American Revolution sites in NJ

Hello,
I am looking for some sites in NJ besides the major ones that maybe people has some luck finding some musket balls, etc. Also, if anyone is interested in doing some exploring and hunting. I live in south plainfield, NJ. there has been lots of skirmishes in the state and thinking that might be the best.

i am new to the hunt but just got a new bounty hunter II detector and would love to try it out.
i'm sure there are some spots in town we can hunt on.

Hey,
Good to see someone from SP. there are alot of skirmishes that occurred in nj and there are a few that occurred in SP and in new market part of piscataway. im trying to gather some information from Larry Randolph who is the town historian and know about the American revolution in the local area. where in SP do you live. I live by samptown and clinton ave by holy redemer cemetery. this area was called samptown and there was a skirmish that happened here. let me know and we can figure a plan out.
