Amgen Bike Tour came by our house!

We watched the bike race from the road by our house. It's at the Mariposa/Madera county line at 3,200' . We lucked out & the snow melted off the road. We were very worried that the conditions would be bad for the riders. We had a total of 20" of snow that melted the morning of the race! Where we were the snow was gone but 1/4 mile up from us everyone had to sit in the snow to watch. Most places had thousands of spectators but we only had about 40 people on our little hill. I was sitting where there were only 4 people on our knoll. It was really cool!

Lance Armstrong is right above the motorcycle rider's helmet & he's wearing the yellow helmet. Leipheimer is right there too but I'm not sure which one he is yet.
