I am a little late in posting today. We have some exciting news today. I have a new great grandchild on his way to the world. He isn't here yet but has started his journey! I can't wait!
We went hunting early this morning and here is a funny story for you. The water did not look that rough. Yes, there were some waves but it didn't "look" bad. So in the water I went. Well it turned out that it was a little rougher than I though. I didn't like it much so I got out and hunted the dry sand. I kept looking at the water and it STILL didn't look that bad so back in I went. Yes, it was rough so back to the dry sand for me. A little later I looked at the water again and though ok NOW it's nice, I'm going back in. I finally got my first hit in the water but just couldn't get it. After several scoops I moved around to get it from a different angle and.............. I went flying! I am not kidding! I got hit by a wave and it knocked me forward and into the water! Good thing my detector was attached to me because I dropped that and I also dropped the scoop but it was under me. I did not get hurt but my pride was dented somewhat! I never did get the target either. I wasn't going to let that darn wave get the best of me so I went back in but never found it. I ended up getting back up in the dry sand for the last and remaining time. I ended up with $1.88 in clad, one nice towel, a sponge ball and nothing else.
EmeraldEyes on the other hand only found 88 cents in clad but she found a couple earring studs. One guardian angel and a double cz one.
Not a lot today but it was an exciting day what with my dip in the gulf and a new baby coming!
