An fancy door knob

Dug this up at an old inn site from mid 1800s. Probably the coolest knob I've ever found.. Still working on the maker but finding some examples with similar style that are being called Eastlake.. Not quite sure tho..

Yes, you're on the right lines with 'Eastwood'. That particular design is generally referred to as "Potted Flower" and I think first manufactured by the Lockwood Company around 1885.

Definitely Eastlake and very sellable on Ebay, $25 to $35.

Good to see something dug besides coins...though coins still rock. I think that doorknob is an overall better find than silver...nice find !

They don't make em like they used to. I found some ornate door hardware in my yard and cleaned it up and put it on our house.

I found a similarly designed door part a few weeks ago. Posted it on here and DCMatt suggested it was Eastlake too. Looks to be in similar style
