So one of my son's friends told me about an old foundation he found while hunting. He and I took a walk to the sight. It's been abandoned since the 1960s. The house foundation is intact, but there are tons of bricks piled up where they have fallen. There property is very overgrown and it will be tough to swing. There are several old growth trees near the house and the spring house foundation is still intact!

Tough to swing but I'm sure you're going for it! Good Luck on your hunt:icon_thumright:

I've discovered a few old farmsteads in the area. Some of them were established in the late 1800s and they appear on a map dated 1900. The fun thing is trying to figure out how the people lived.
