I have this old map of California "gold country" and a San francisco Examiner dated 1893 with detailed information about each of the county s that make up the state of California.

That is awesome. I would be very careful with that and get it laminated very soon so that it would last a long time. I would think that information is worth holding on to. Great map for its age.
