An old worn merc...

Can't tell you how relieved I am this was a 1917 and not a 1916.
The back is as worn around the edge as the front and any mint mark is long gone so if this was a 1916 it would have bothered me forever not knowing if I had dug up a 1916d...or not.

I know you guys understand what I am talking about.
