This was an area that had no recorded history whatsoever....but it looked great on a map. It just made sense for colonial settlement. It turned out to be a great early site

Abe,

Nice selection of old finds for your efforts.

Oh, the jealousy coursing through my veins over that sling buckle!!! Great reales, awesome shoe buckle. You crushed it!!!!

Love the bell...
Well done.

You beat IP and got the 8th post in the new forum :headbang:

This was one of my favorite hunts of yours, mainly because of that real button. As you know, I think those personal items are the best and one that was made from a coin is even better. Also, sick bell... as much as I like those, I never find them. haha

It is very rewarding to use your instincts and knowledge of the habits and patterns of the early settlers and discover a virgin site that was never recorded on a map. This is what keeps me exploring. I'm sure that there are countless colonial sites that are right under our noses that we don't even know about. I just need to retire so I can have more time to find them.

Those are all great finds! Fantastic shoe buckle and real cuff link.

I am glad you guys suggested a place where you could show off all this Colonial eye candy.
