Funerary stele found in turkey, believed to be lately BC 2. Century.
The first remarkable feature in our stele is that figures were processed in the form of highly advanced reliefs. There are also some sayings written in ancient Greek; “Xaipe” meaning “farewell”and some other sayings. From this point of view, it seems an ancient funerary stele.
The way Klenin is placed in the picture area, the increase in the number of those over it, women sitting their own seats mutually and dining table in the center of composition, all these features are intrinsic to Mysia region, and it is seen very often on Kyzikos and Miletupolis steles.
