A farmer in Cass County, Ill., picked up on his farm a curious bronze coin, which Dr. J. f. snyder sent to Prof. F. F. Hilder, of St. Louis, who writes about it as follows to the Kansas City Review:

Got a few Roman coins from the UK myself. Could drop them one day while walking around and who knows what could come of it?!?

In 2002, I found a large Ptolemaic (246-221 BC - Egypt) bronze coin in central Minn. (Made W&E best finds-2002). No doubt a kid was taking it to school for 'Show & Tell' and lost it.
