Sorry! Little late for april fools day, but this token dates back to 1055! LoL!
'Been huntin 150 year-old sites but slim pickens lately! LOTS of wheats at 3-4 inches deep at two sites, nothing deeper and not alot of trash, so I suspect fill or dirt moved....I just give the wheaties to the homeowners, don't know if they're thrilled or not.
I did dig a metal deer head, looks kinda cool, about 3" in size. Will try to get a pic of that in.
These are the only notable keepers from two old sites, but ya just never know whats there till....

Congrats on the merc. Nice looking for 1920.

Wheats at 3-4, the silver might be shallow too.

Good luck,
HH.

Hey, I found the same token design, but it doesn't say the same thing.

I'll look for it and post a pic. I just found it the other day.

I did do a little research...if you're curious.

It seems that you can "CREATE YOUR OWN" good luck tokens at some places.

They are known as "4 Leaf Clover Good Luck Tokens"...or something like that.

Here is a scan...

Nice digs! I know that you know the token was likely 1955. those were good luck tokens, that you could put names on etc in the 50's.

congrats on the merc, i have only dug 2, but i dont think i will ever get sick of digging them, such an awesome coin. The token is pretty cool to keep it up

Nice.
I remember getting those tokens at the local fairs and the state fair.
