I hit 2 locations yesterday with meager results but I did get some silver. The first location was a farm.
The area we searched was around and in the field behind the barn. The barn and an adjacent structure, had been used as an automobile repair shop. There was also an area around the Sugar Shack where the Maple syrup processing was done. All of the trash that couldn't be burned was dumped on the back part of the property. We were told that the trash was eventually spread out with a bulldozer across the field.
The place was a mess. It looked more like a town dump. We decided to move on.
We ended up at a heavily searched park. Things were slow with the exception of one really nice Silver signal. A small spoon. I told my partner, Repo Archeologist that it was probably a novelty spoon used for snorting cocaine.
When I got home, I cleaned and polished the spoon and that's when I discovered that it was actually a spoon made by Westmorland Sterling. I looked it up and discovered that it is actually a circa 1940 Salt Spoon. Boy, what an education this kid from a South Bronx Housing Project is getting.
