i wouldn't be excited about copper unless it was over 200 hundred years old! I think this is a draped bust 1800-1808. it is well worn but i can tell by some photo comparison that the front matches. the photos will give you an idea. this was found near the other old coppers i've discovered. i'm adding pics to the 1809 half cent thread i posted. thanks for looking.

Worn coppers are better than no coppers .. Nice find!

thanks steve. i got out again today and got another completey hammered copper. i'm sure it's old but unidentifible unless measurement can pinpoint it.
