Went detecting yesterday,only dug up, $1.42 clad. Ground was soooo hard.

But, I did sell my elsalvador medal I dug up couple years ago for $69.99
also sold 2 silver rings I dug up for $22.00
another silver ring will be sold too for over $10.00
totals sure do add up with clad and selling jewelry.

just wondering...do any of you guys sell your findings?

I hunt mostly civil war areas and that's what I search for the most. I love the history and wouldnt be able to bear selling any of those finds. However, If I lived near a beach and found modern jewelry, I would sell that all day long.

I never sold any of my old coins or replicas I have dug...just jewelry that does not fit me. Some treasures for sure are keepers...

I bet if I did sell I could get the top of the line detector I want but I never could allow myself to do it. I even have a hard time trying to just get rid of the junk I lug home sometimes.
