Sorry guys for posting another thread but i had to :tongue3:

It sounded like a big rusty piece of metal under a rotten trunk.
First i was afraid to open it.
now i know that we can find them all over the planet.

Anything interesting inside?

I've found a few small geo caches and just left them be for the next searcher

I've found 4 myself. Always leave one of my clad coins in one when I find it.

I had found nothing but a rusty old spoon and i left it in the box. Inside the box there were only children's stuff.

Great idea. I found a geocache once, but didn't think to add anything. Next time I'll leave a coin or maybe an old relic of some kind. Thanks!

Shows Ya what I know about them, I thought it was a mouse trap! Lol!

That's a neat find, I recon they have become more prevalent over the past decade or so with the access of the masses to GPS. I have never dug one, but I try to stay away from high traffic areas. I know there is at least one in the local state park. I have watched a family look for one last summer as I was detecting in the grassy area near the beach. To each there own I guess.

Cool find,,
Geocaches are buried all over the world.
I wonder if they bother to get permission to bury those containers.

Cool little find. I still geocache from time to time, even have a few hidden myself. They are worldwide. There is one aboard the ISS and one on the bottom of an ocean somewhere. According to Geocaching.com, there are over 3 million geocachers. My grandkids love it. To them it's treasure hunting.
