Anderson PMR-II Pre or Post 2003 Manufacturing Date

I read in David Villanueva's book Dowsing for Treasure page 47 that the Anderson PMR-II pre 2003 rods were superior to the rods of today, because the smaller chamber's contents died with Mr. Anderson and that his son-in-law does not have the same "secret formula" in the rods. Can anyone heard this before?

Don’t know anything about them but it depends on the half-life of the radioactive material. Tritium has a 10 year half-life. Some people use low-grade uranium ore

It’s been several years but I think the quartz is supposed to be crushed up into various sized pieces, not just ground down to fine powder.

Louis Turenne made a homeopathic mixture of bromine, I think.. I read about it somewhere but can’t recall exactly he made it. Some kind of powder he used,, I suspect he just kept mixing it and thinning it down until a Geiger counter could barely detect it. I don’t know this, just a guess.

It’s been several years but I think the quartz is supposed to be crushed up into various sized pieces, not just ground down to fine powder.

BTW, latest govt standards say there is no “safe” amount of radiation dosage. I don’t know anything about bromine except it’s highly dangerous. Even a homeopathic mixture is likely dangerous. Honestly, there are much better locators than directional locators. That PMR III is the same price as LRLMAN’s EFNMR2015.

I never saw any rod Turenne used that contained radioactive material. He had a disc with a circle and all the angle of each element like spokes on a wheel. He used a pendulum and had the bromine in the middle underneath the disc. I’d have to go back and read it again but something like the radioactive martial when positioned in the middle gave the opposite reaction. ANyway these are his “Fundamental Angles”.

Turenne used coils in his early Y-rods. But he later discarded this and went to magnets. He used two compass needles for magnets situated across from each other and by rotating the magnets he could change the polarity and angle.

BTW, Y-rods are quite versatile. You can rotating 360 degrees and watch for a rod response when the rod is aimed at the target. Like other equipment, Y-rods take some practice and the proper way to hold them is palms up and thumbs pressed against the ends of the handles. Depending on the polarity the rod will either pull up or swing down. Also once you have a target you can raise your arms and rod up until you get a response. This way you can estimate here distance to the target.

When you raise the Y-rod up to estimate distance to the target you reach a point where the rod makes a sharp pull-down. So you estimate distance to the target by how far you had to lift the rod to get a response.
